Angel Friends
A few years ago I created a card for Mama (she has the straw hat on) to send to all of her best friends with this picture on the front and this verse I had written on the inside. They would try to take a fun trip every year. She sent it to them on Mother's Day, Mama's favorite holiday. (the poem is on the Friendship page of my book Still Before The Dawn).
ANGEL FRIENDS
With a love so deep
My heart can feel with you.
Let me hold your hand
With friends that stick like glue.
Our Lord will never let
You stand alone for long.
Forever He will comfort
Your precious spirit with a song.
As some days may seem dark,
Look in your garden with hope.
Your angel friends, like flowers,
Will bring peace and help you cope.
