My whole life, dear Mama

You’ve covered me with care.

Great wisdom you’ve given,

Through burdens we have shared.

You always put self last,

To give your heart to all,

Comfort and strength you’ve been,

And protection from my falls.

A blessing is lifted each day

For you, my Mama, so dear,

A blanket of love you’ll be,

Always covering me with your care.
